Sadra
Islamic Philosophy Research Institute (SIPRIn)
was established in 1994 following the objective of holding the World
Congress on Mulla Sadra, introducing Mulla Sadra and his famous school of
thought; the Transcendent Philosophy and contacting the main world
philosophical centers, in World Congress on Mulla Sadra Headquarter.

Supreme Council was eslabished in 1995 with the participation of professors
and researchers of the theology schools and universities, most of whom are
members of the Iranian Academy of Philosophy, towards compilation of the
general organization, policies and programs of the World Congress on Mulla
Sadra.
SIPRIn is affiliated to "Bonyad-e Hekmat-e Eslami Sadra" which was
registered in 1999 and has a close cooperation with the Mulla Sadra
International Society which is also affiliated to the same Foundation
(Bonyad).
"Bonyad-e Hekmat-e Eslami Sadra" aims at promoting philosophy throughout the
world, introducing Mulla Sadra to the world philosophical schools of
thought, dissemination of philosophy amongst the Iranian community,
convening congresses and seminars for bringing together the world
philosophers, publication of philosophical magazines both in Persian and
other languages and establishing scientific and intellectual links between
the world philosophical institutions and this Foundation.
The mentioned Foundation is non-profitable and non-governmental but can
benefit from the governmental funds allocated for cultural affairs and
promotion of philosophy. Its other financial sources are public funds, sales
of books and educational services. |
